Muse Workshop #1 (I am using my 2nd workshop because the first one I was supposed to go to was full before the workshop even began)
I went to Alcohol 101 located in the Healh Center Room 208. This workshop was to educate us about alcohol, not to tell us to stop drinking it, but rather inform us and help us with out desicions on alcohol. I did learn a variety of things. Such as "slamming" a drink rather than sipping one leads to more time of recovery and sobering up. Second, the myth about eating something afterward actually does not help sober a person up either. I liked the idea of this workshop and the information given, but the people who ran and gave the presentation did not seem very motivated to do so. I think htey should have been better prepared. They just read off the slides, it appeared as if they did not know what they were talking about. I would recommend the information given but not acutally the workshop itself just because of the presentation delivered.
